Are there membership fees?
To help us with our overhead costs, we ask that you pay an annual fee of $5 per household for one calendar year. You are welcome to try us for three orders before officially becoming members.
Will I have to buy vegetables I don't want?
With our Locally Grown individual ordering you get to order what you want, in the quantities that you want. The weekly e-mail lists what is available that week, and you can browse the items on this website before you place your order. Due to the increasing popularity of CSAs, we also offer a CSA package, which is seperate from and can compliment your ordering of individual items here on locally grown. A CSA share can be an economical way of getting random, mixed produce at a reduced price, and a chance to participate in farm activities. For more information call or email.
How do I order?
By Saturday evening, a list of available products is sent to all of our registered customers by e-mail. Customers must place their order for Tuesday pickup at the farm in Winthrop no later than Monday at 9:30 p.m. Orders can be placed here on our website.
When do I pay?
We accept cash or checks when you pick up your order. Because we may have to adjust your total then (to account for other items you decide to purchase or items that were unexpectedly unavailable), we do not accept advance payment on the website.
When and Where do I pick up my order?
From 2 – 6 pm on Tuesday, customers can pick-up their produce at our farm located at 1101 County Rte 49 in Winthrop (Stockholm) NY 13697. We are located 2 miles south of the Route 11 & 420 Intersection, just south of the Buckton Road Intersection on Rte 49.
